"Great service from GP and at ENT at Royal Hallamshire Hospital"

First of all less than a week from my GP referring me to going for my outpatients appointment at the ENT at the Hallamshire. Clinic was extremely busy, 4 or 5 consultants working, full waiting room. Despite this the receptionist was friendly and efficient, there were nurses clearly giving kind & sensitive help to a couple of confused old ladies, taking one off to the loo etc. The clinic was running late, but a whiteboard gave estimated delay times, and occasionally a nurse would come along and apologise for delays. In the event I only waited 20 minutes for a hearing test, then a few more to see the consultant (Mr Ray) who was excellent. thorough, professional, extremely articulate and with a reassuring manner. All done in about an hour - 5 stars!
