Having been ill for 5 days and waited to allow my illness to clear up before ringing my doctor for an appointment, I used the walk-in service today, as I was unable to make an appointment see my GP or nurse practitioner for another 3 days. I was booked in, seen by a nurse practitioner and on my way again within 10 minutes of arriving. The reception staff were efficient and friendly, and the nurse practitioner gave good advice without patronising me or making me feel I was wasting their time. I left feeling reassured and knowing what I could do to self treat. The hospital where the clinic is located is easy to reach by bus and we'll sign posted at the entrance. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The consultation room was the same. If I am ever unable to make an urgent appointment at my GP's again, I will use this walk in clinic.
"Friendly and efficient"
