Very good treatment from all concerned.looked after by nurses who fully informed me when procedures would start & finish. The anaesthetists were very caring in the time spent with you,so you understood what was to happen& could ask questions.Operation I can feel was successful.20 years ago I had the same procedure on my left foot at Southmead hospital, how the operation must have changed,no plaster this time plus fully weight bearing marvellous. The nurse took time to fully explain the operation I had, what would happen next ,my medication to take home & what to expect for recovery.Thank you to the surgeon and team well done.By the way I am elevating my foot whilst writing ,in case you were wondering. One negative. One nurse choose to complain about their work to another member of staff at the work station, you need a staff time to do this not air in public. My boss would have severely reprimanded me for doing this.
