"Staff can't do enough for you."

About: Cumberland Infirmary

My experience of this hospital had been very positive. I attended here 3 years ago with a serious illness and am now back with another, but unrelated condition. In my opinion the staff are very professional, courteous and approachable. They all appear to go 'the extra mile' when dealing with anything. The consultants I have seen are obviously very knowledgeable and have always kept me informed at every stage. Hospital is the last place anybody wants to be but, if I had to go to one, then Cumberland Infirmary is the one I would prefer to attend. Facilities are very good apart from the beds - but then there is nothing quite like your own bed anyway. I might need another operation in the near future and I have no qualms about going here.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion of the hospital, it is lovely to hear such positive views.

The staff work very hard to provide a professional, caring service to all their patients and fully realise how distressing attendance at hospital can be. They do their utmost to make patients feel at ease and ensure they are kept informed as much as possible.

I do agree that there's nothing like your own bed!

I shall ensure the Orthopaedic manager receives your comments and these will be shared with the staff.

Thank you

Helen
