"Hip Replacement"

I had my hip replacement at benenden in July. The Surgeon did an excellent job and the staff were so kind and helpful. But they kicked me out without any after care the physio I got in the hospital was hit and miss and the advice for when I got home was lacking. The Ward Staff nurse refused to speak to me about my home arrangements and because of the confusion I was sent home not even being shown how to walk up and down stairs they said I could choose what time I went home I did that and I hadnt had my physio for that day so I had to go home without it. I was so frightened not to have any care at home I had to ring round myself and found out the people they were supposed to speak to hadnt heard from them I was told the Staff Nurse was in a meeting . Gone Home. Was still in the hospital obviously there were untruths going on but because I needed to go home for several reasons I had to go. Sad because the Surgeon Nurses and all staff were so kind to me but this one man made my experience frightening .
