Re:- my sister Margaret M Date 26/7/2015 My sister as been in F.G.H. for three weeks due to a leg injury following a car accident, for the first 10 days nothing seemed to be done , though we did ask for information weather or not it was infected we got told it was not though they where giving antibiotics orally and then by a drip We were told by a nurse after inquiring into the state of her leg that it was a nurses job not a doctors . On Tuesday 21-7-15 she was taken to Lancaster hospital to see a plastic surgeon whilst she was there a silver antibiotic dressing was applied and this was to be left on until Friday, when the dressing was removed another silver antibiotic dressing was to be applied if surgery wasn't taking place this has not happened! Friday 24-7-15 she was seen by a doctor who said she needed to go to surgery the following day, she was then put on nil by mouth. On the Saturday morning she was seen by yet another doctor who said surgery was not necessary and to wait until the doctor returns from their holidays. Does my sister need to lose her leg before doctors can agree on what course of action is needed This Email to you is our first port of call, our second is to the C.Q.C. Mr Michael T (partner) Mr Michael K (brother) Ms Karen W {daughter} Mrs Miriam B{sister}
