"waiting time"

About: New Cross Hospital

Bought my daughter to a and e with stomach pains, at 4.45 am. Waited over 3 hours to be seen by a doctor. Noone came into the cubicle to see how my daughter was. Listened to nurses who were supposed to be on duty talk about their wedding plans, instead if looking after patients. The a and e department wasn't busy. It is absolutely disgraceful the way patients are left. I asked at 6.45 and was told we were next. Still waiting over an hour later. What an absolute diabolical way to run things. Surely all hospitals aren't like this

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments relating to your daughter's patient experience in our Emergency Department. I am sorry for any distress that this matter has caused. To enable me to look further into your concerns, I would be grateful if you can contact out Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01902 695362 who can assist you further. Kindest regards Carol Bott Head of Patient Experience and Public Involvement
