"The service I received was exemplary"

Having to access medical treatment on a Sunday morning is not how I would have chosen to spend a weekend, BUT, just wanted to say how impressed I was with the service provided by Locala Walk in Centre at Dewsbury Hospital.

I was booked in by two very pleasant receptionists, who gave me the relevant information and directed me to the patient waiting area.

There were already a number of patients waiting and I expected to be there for quite some time.

When it was my turn I was called through by the Locala Walk in Centre Nurse. She introduced herself as Helen and very quickly identified what treatment I required. I was provided with a complete supply of medication from the department and did not have to seek a pharmacy to obtain the item.

Helen was very efficient and knowledgeable and gave me explicit advice on how to treat my condition. She also advised on what I should do should things get worse.

All this took less than an hour and I was on my way home.

I felt the service I received was exemplary.
