"Appointment situation"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I have been a patient at this Hospital since it opened being transferred from Harold Wood(mores the pity) I have Botox every two months which the Neaurologist says I should have. Every time you are told an appointment will be sent I last went in June which told by the Consultant will see you in August. Having not had an appointment rang the hospital which I think is probably a call centre for appointment to o be told it is October when I said no the Consultant said 2 months the reply was does not matter what the Consultant says its when we can fit you in. I think this system needs looking into. The cost of telephone calls every time and the cost to the hospital sending appointments out that don't come. I have tried Pals several times answerphone never get a call back. Having been under this Consultant at least 20 years this is getting so frustrating.

I’m sorry to hear there has been a communication issue with your appointment, and that you have not received a call back from our PALS team. Please try the alternative number of on 01708 435 454, or by email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk. Yours sincerely Wendy Matthews Interim Chief Nurse
