"Regularly provides excellent service"

As a family we have been to the drop in centre on many occasions. Broken toes, tonsillitis, head wounds etc. we have never waited long. The staff are kind and helpful. They are calm and listen to you. I have always been treated appropriately and given time. The treatment has been thorough and accurate. Overall.a very good service and a huge benefit in a town where getting to see a GP is difficult. The health centre is always very busy and appointments at short notice are rare. Access to X-ray is invaluable. When my son broke his hand, although once they saw the X-ray they said we needed to see a specialist at the LRI. We had the X-ray with us and saw the right person at the LRI quicker. We knew the extent of the break and were prepared for a lengthy process.
