"Our family are overwhelmed by the standard of care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Medicine (Wards 5 & 8)

(as a relative),

I would like to take this opportunity to commend the wonderful staff of ward 11 Wishaw General Hospital for the care and compassion shown to mum during her stay in the ward. At all times she was treated as an individual and her treatment tailored to her needs and more importantly her wishes.

We as a family are overwhelmed by the standard of care given to mum and extended to us. Sadly our mum passed away peacefully recently and she truthfully could not have been in a better place. Special thanks to each and every one of you.

PS Craig you have a great team keep up the good work. x

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your mother.

Thank you for taking the time to post such a positive opinion regarding the care your mother received in Ward 11, at what must be a very difficult and sad time for you and your family.

Our staff work hard to provide individualised patient care, and I am very pleased that this was the experience for your mum and yourselves as a family.

I will ensure that your kind comments are relayed to the ward team.
