"Aboslutely Nothing"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Aboslutely Nothing

What could be improved

The attitude of all staff

The efficiency of A&E

Anything else?

I was admitted via ambulance to the A&E unit after I had attempted suicide by overdose. The ambulance staff got me to the hospital in record time, but once there I was made to wait in a corridor with my Girlfriend who was distraught for over 20 minutes. Surely if somebody has ingested a lethal dose of something they should be seen immediately? Not the case. I then sat in a waiting room for one and a half hours and at no point did any nurse or doctor check on me. By this point they would have known from my file that I suffered from Multiple Personality Disorder.

A terrible hospital. The cost of going private is well worth it.
