"Very appreciative patient"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

I would just like to thank all the staff from the NHS phone service team, then the nurse on the phone and finally the friendly and professional staff at the hospital. I had worrying pains in my chest but I am extremely stubborn and don't like wasting people's time. The staff and nurse on the phone wanted to get me an ambulance but I refused and said I would make my way to A&E. On arrival I was greeted by friendly reception staff and then swiftly by a nurse and doctor. This was my first visit to the hospital and everyone concerned put me at ease quickly and professionally and thankfully i was given the all clear, please pass on my gratitude to all staff on the 19/07/15 afternoon shift as they do a fantastic job.
