"Visit was a waste of time"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

Was told "we dont give medication willy nilly you know". I wouldnt have minded but I never asked for medication. I was told I hadnt had any relapses in th last five years - dunno how they know I havent attended QMC for the past five years. Weird how the team that has seen me (including my neuro) says I have had relapses. I made an appointment with the doctor and expected to see them (especially as I asked to see them before I made the appointment and was willing to wait as long as necessary for an appointment). The appointment was 45 minutes late, no apology given, just rushed me through. I wasnt involved in any decisions I was just dictated at. The appointment was a waste of time and I am going back to Sheffield where at least I am treated like a person.

Hello. I appreciate you taking time to provide this feedback. From your comment it sounds like there has been a breakdown in communication, for which I apologise. The staff attitudes and behaviours you describe are concerning and I would like to look into this further. However, to do so I need a little more detail form you. Would you be able to get in touch with me directly to discuss your experience further? You can contact me on 0115 9249924 ext. 64217 or sarah.moppett@nuh.nhs.uk.

Kind regards,

Sarah Moppett.

Clinical lead, MSKN.
