"ADD Support"

New to the Maudsley Hospital. Dubious that large doses of prolonged use of ADD medication and various others were not challenged or looked at in depth, considering the long term effects, lack of progression, lack of tolerance and addiction notoriety off these controlled prescription drugs. I have tried aimlessly to get off these tablets but it is very difficult when large dosages are supplied and very difficult to admit you have a problem through fear of not knowing if you can cope without them after such a long period of dependency. I have wrestled with admitting the truth about binging and addiction for some time and often have the intention to admit this with a view to receiving the correct help but my addiction kicks in and i back out of admitting the severity of my problem time and time again.. I hope I can be coerced into realizing that these are not benefiting me in anyway or find other ways to get through this now that I am under the wings of the Maudsley Hospital Instead of the usual so called help I received previously. Example. Here are as many tablets as you request. Now off you go. The tablets significantly helped when i first started them years ago but i quickly became dependent, quickly obtained higher dosages and quickly the negatives and side effects far out weighed the positives the more my tolerance grew. I often wish i had not been diagnosed in the first place as my issues were far less extreme prior to being handed these large doses of addictive tablets. I have heard good things about the Maudsley but here's hoping as other reviews have mentioned, that I am not forgotten about.
