"Fantastic Care from Wonderful Staff"

We have just returned home from having spent a couple of days on your children's unit after our son Alfie fell and broke his arm at the end of the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. From being brought in by Ambulance on Sunday night to A&E, to being moved up to the children's unit later that night, followed by surgery on Monday (following which Alfie was quite unwell) we received the most wonderful care from your staff. Although all of your staff were wonderful, we would like to make special mention of a Nurse whose fantastic care and attention to Alfie was an absolute credit to the nursing profession. In what was undoubtedly a scary and painful experience for a 3 year old boy, this nurse quickly earned his trust and ensured that he was happy and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone during our stay and myself and my wife would like to express our thanks and gratitude for the wonderful, caring nature we witnessed towards us and our son.
