"reception knowlege"

Visited herts and essex hospital on monday, did not know where to go so asked the receptionist directions after give them my letter. was informed of area to visit so off I went. After sitting there for a while I noticed people going in after turning up after me. Next time someone came out I asked why I had not been called. Only to be told I was in wrong department. where should I be then I asked " I do not know" was the reply. So back to reception I went to be told to go back again, I told them I have been there and wasted 45 minutes to be told wrong department. "oh" they said you want the one down the hall. Off I go and find the right department, which has one lady sitting outside waiting for her mother. The doctor comes out and says " can not see you, you missed your appointment" I explained my reason but was told " No" . I've now got to sit in pain for at least another month waiting for new appointment because of ineptitude of poor staffing.
