"Breast services clinic"

I was referred by my GP and seen within two weeks. All the staff I saw at the breast services clinic were lovely and reassuring. Although I had read that the first appointment could take up to three hours, I was seen very quickly and had all my tests done within an hour. I saw the lead surgeon for the results of the mammogram and ultrasound and they told me exactly what the results meant and that t wyould see me the following week for the results of the biopsy. I was very fortunate as the biopsy showed that my tumour is benign. However, the surgeon is incredibly thorough and wants to see me again regarding a small rash I also had. I cannot praise this service enough and am very grateful for the care I received there.
