I was at a hospital for a week, where I had the brain surgery for Epilepsy, The Walton Centre for neurology, just to check I was ok. I was, and had been doing really well for the nurses for the full week, talking to the staff, choosing my meals each day and eating them all, talking to other patients (socialising), washing and dressing each day, taking all the medication they gave me and never refusing any, not a problem! !
A day later, I found myself being taken to Aintree next door in a wheel chair one night, and only found out when I had been released (6 weeks later), that they had sectioned me. I was not told anything of this before-hand, and was not asked to sign a bit of paper to agree with their plans, which in my view is illegal. I have now found out that from my point of view all the information the nurses had given at the Walton Centre at the time was incorrect and false and therefore the Clinical Nurse who saw me on that night, was following incorrect information, and had had no need to send me to Aintree, never mind Section 11 me. I was doing very well in myself.
The Clinical nurse did not check with me when I was talking to her, that the information she had been given was correct, (so she was following false allegations, very inconsiderate), nor should she have let my mum to come into the room at the same time, and invade my privacy, as I could not say how I had been, and what had just happened, with her present. She allowed my mum to rudely interrupt. As well as saying they were doing their duties to look after me, which they were not in my view., they had even let my mum sleep in my bed and invade my privacy, whilst she was ignoring me and pretending to be asleep. The nurses would not comply with me, which I found very rude and a form of blackmail. How can they then have the cheek, to say it was me who was in the wrong? A form of sabotage.
Apparently I was not sectioned until 2 days or so after I got to Aintree, as that is not the reason they had sent me there. Both hospitals were saying it was the other who had sectioned me. It also says in the notes that they did talk to me, and ask me to "consider putting your hand up for a plea, but how could they when no one was even talking to me for 2 days at least. and following that nothing was said either. I'd known nothing about this, and as well as sectioning me, for what felt like no reason without telling me (section 2), I asked them politely after 5 weeks can I go home soon, as I was getting fed up, and it felt like they took it out on me and sectioned me again a section 3. This has all been very cruel behaviour, from both the doctors and nurses. They had even given me injections when I was taking the medication 100% of the time.
I feel I have been blackmailed and used and abused by the medical staff and am now stuck/addictedon/to the tables. I am told I can not adopt can not train to be in the police, I feel my life has been turned upside down all due to the fact that the nurses and staff at the hospital in my view are not genuine.
