"disappointing"

About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

I am really disappointed with the service provide at Accident and Emergency department. On Thursday evening I decided to call 111 to ask advice. The person I spoke with was so sweet and after few questions they asked me to wait for my GP doctor to contact me in 2 hours. My doctor was really nice too and gave me few advice to make me feel better and told me to see them the following day if I didn't get better. On Friday morning I was feeling good and I decided to go to work but when I arrived home I was getting worse. After I quickly laid down on bed I lost my consciousness for few seconds and I got scared, so I decided to go to the hospital to see a doctor on Saturday at 00:30. They made me waiting for 5 hours before see the doctor. The department wasn't so busy but few people left after 3 hours waiting. When my turn arrived, I explained to the doctor that my head was spinning, I was feeling really dizzy for 2 days, strong pain in my belly and the night before I passed out after laid down on my bed. I said that I was thinking it could be a food poison coming from the eggs that I ate. Without doing any test, the doctor told me to take Paracetamol and drink tea with a bit sugar, and said that I shouldn't drink natural water instead drink tonic water. I was really upset with this situation but I did what the doctor had asked me to do. Today is Monday and I am still feeling the same. I will go to my GP tomorrow to try to see my doctor. I just hope that my GP won't ask me to take paracetamol again. I don't like to go to the hospital. I only go when I think it is really necessary but honestly I didn't chose to be sick and I just want few testing to be done by the doctor to make me few better. It is just sad to know that I am paying my tax for over 7 years and I couldn't relay on the doctor's opinion on Saturday. I just hope next time that I need to see a doctor Accident and Emergency department I will be treat much better.
