"Mis-diagnosis"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

Was admitted in October 2014 with severe chest and neck pain. After a week was told that two discs in my neck were crushing a nerve causing chest pain and numbness in left arm and sent home with some morphine and told that it would clear up in a couple of months. After complaining on this page and nearly 9 months later I had a follow up appointment on Monday 13th July only to be told that the neck problem was not as bad as they made out and was not the cause of the chest pain. I was told to go back to the GP about the chest pain. Great. So I have put up with excruciating pain in the chest for 9 months now and now I have to start all over again and go back to the GP and insist on a referral so the problem can be investigated. I can see why Medway Hospital has got the poor reputation it has.
