"Operation to realine my left leg"

About: James Paget University Hospital

After 4 operations on my knee, being messed around for a long while, i came into hospital on ward 7 thinking it was going to be a very big nightmare. Wow how wrong could i have been, getting on the ward at 6.30am every single member of staff were fantasic, i had my operation and when i came back to the ward was in a bad way, sweating not being able to pass urine, it was discussed with me about the problems and resolved in a very professional manner, every member of staff was great. My operation so far looks to be a success & cannot believe how great the experance was, when not in this ward i must add but had such bad experiences before. A big thank you to all the staff on Ward 7. A special thank you to the person who spent the whole evening helping me so much, thank you.

Thanks for letting us have your comments. Its not good to feel you have been messed around, but really great to see that our staff explained everything to you and any issues were resolved. I will be passing your comments on to the team on the ward who I am sure will be really pleased to see the impact they had on you. In case you feel it is something you would like to do, our staff awards nominations are open until the end of the month if you feel anyone/the team warrants an entry for 'going above and beyond'. The details can be found on our website at www.jpaget.nhs.uk. Ann Filby, Head of Communications
