"ENT clinic"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I endorse the comment of a previous person. The ENT clinic operation is a farce people due in at 11am being seen before those for 1015 etc Long unnecessary waiting arrogant nurses unhelpful medics. NHS says it costs if appointments are not kept perhaps they will pay me for wasting half a day from my consultancy business to be dealt with 90 minutes late in ENT and when the consultation lasts less than 2 minutes

As a Trust, we recognise the impact of lengthy waiting times on our patients and are working to improve patient flow and processes in the outpatient departments in order to improve that aspect of a patient's journey. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We were sorry to read your comments and can fully appreciate the frustration caused by such lengthy delays in being seen in clinic. Whilst we appreciate it was not your experience, please be assured that the Trust is working hard to improve the flow of patients through the outpatient departments in order to reduce situations such as the one you encountered. We were concerned to read your comments about the attitude and behaviours of some of our staff and would welcome the opportunity to discuss further if you would be happy to contact our Customer Care department on 01772 522793.
