had to wait 1h 20 mins before I was seen for eye drops to be put in - Attended for a twitching eye, sharp pains in the eye and soreness and flashing lights. Finally seen after 1h 45 minuutes and informed blocked tear duct - was not referred direct but was informed to see my GP and get them to refer me to the Eye Department next door (informed a 17 week wait after I see my GP), also given a couple of suggestions for eye drops on a scrap piece of paper (not given a prescription). So left still in a lot of pain, wondering when I could get a GP appointment and request a Prescription for the eye drops. Had to go to bed when I got home due to sharps pains in my eye and a chronic headache. Will probably have to give up as it is such a long wait - have considered looking on the internet and trying to unblock the tear duct myself due to the pain and twitching.
