"ridiculous"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute)

I have been going to the Endocrinology department for round about a year now with no luck what so ever. I have not been told what the problem is and in actual fact I have been told different things by every doctor I have seen. One doctor said that I have tumour, another said its not a tumour and its just a lump. Another said it is nothing and is just there and to just ignore and leave it. I am furious about this because not only do i suffer from constant migraines but this has also affected my education. The in regards to my appointments, they are made and then just as its in the next week they get canceled and are then 4/5 months later. I am disgusted with the doctors who to me,do not seem professional in any way what so ever. I am still on the edge as to what is actually going on with me. Even by going to the doctors since a year I still have not been informed as to what is actually doing on. I have different doctors telling me different things all the time. Furthermore, I feel as though the doctors are eager to get the appointment over and done with, with no information in regards to my headaches being explained or even acknowledged. I am very annoyed with the service provided.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with your appointments in our endocrinology department and would ask that you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service - PALS@ngh.nhs.uk or 01604 545784 so that you can discuss your concerns with them and they can help you.
