I pass by monklands hospital the entrance to the renal unit every morning on my way to work around 7am, and most mornings there is a group of staff wearing green uniforms smoking at this entrance! I feel as a member of the public this doesn't give very good impression of the hospital. I realise there is no smoking on hospital grounds but I think when staff gather in groups especially in their uniform is not an acceptable standard for a hospital which has worked so hard to improve its reputation and is doing a wonderful job!
