The staff I encountered at the Unit (receptionist, nurse and doctor) were excellent. They were professional, friendly, attentive, courteous and respectful. Further, the nurse and doctor explained my procedure in clear, unambiguous terms and reinforced what I had been told in the literature I received before my visit. I couldn't have asked for more.
I was admitted onto the ward at the time my appointment card stated and promptly treated. The aftercare was also excellent. I was confident that staff were caring for my needs and allowing me the time I needed before discharging me.
Following on from feedback posted earlier by another person:
I was easily able to find the ward, guided by clear signage, although the title 'Medical Day Unit', used when notifying me of my appointment, was substituted for a similar title (that I do not recall).
I cannot comment on signage to the hospital, as I live local I am aware of the hospital's location and do not notice the signage on route.
