About: Lincoln County Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I went to A&E and I found the A&E nurse was rude and disinterested.

After many hours in acute pain I was seen by an A&E Doctor who was verbally aggressive, rude and hardly examined me. After much perseverance on mine and my husbands part I got a CT scan and was admitted.

Discharged home on Friday with a promise that I would be contacted Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning following MDT meeting - it is now 12. 00 noon on Tuesday and no phone call. Complete shambles.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments which I would like to assure you will be shared with the A&E Nursing team. I am sorry that you found the nurse to be rude and disinterested as this is not the response I expect from my team. If you are willing to share your details with PALS, I will be able to identify the staff involved in your care and discuss it with the individuals involved and again we would be in a position to chase a response from the surgical team.
