I was operated on new yrs Eve emergency ,I was nursed on ward 33 them 34 I had excellent nursing it was thought in some quarters I would end up in a nursing home Surprised them I am now home 29 th April managing a colostomy and having district nurses every day maybe healed up by September fingers crossed ,I am walking with two sticks Everyone days I am doing well after having part bowel removed My sincere thanks goes to the surgeon and staff who showed me much kindness out of their busy lives I later went on to ward 22 the doctor and the sister and staff and the nurse Who I looked forward to seeing they had a sunshine personality all the time on duty The student nurses were lovely and kind I hope this helps anyone going through the surgery and colostomy I was told I would get used to it ,and I have so five stars all round hope I havnt missed anyone out any one by the way I am 80 yrs old
