"The support was outstanding"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Maternity care

(as a parent/guardian),

After giving birth to my daughter, there were a few complications and she had to be rushed to NICU for urgent monitoring. The care and support they provided for my daughter as well as myself and my husband was outstanding. The midwives there were so caring, informative and kind. They deserve some recognition, as what they do is not easy.

We endeavor at all times that the women and their families who choose to have their baby at our Maternity unit have the best possible experience.
