"Treatment by my consultant, their team and nursing..."

I would like to say what an amazingly caring consultant I had and their PA also went out of their way to help me. The way I was treated before going to theatre, whilst being prepared in theatre and post surgery can not be faulted. The staff were so understanding. Once back in my room the nurses did everything they could to make me comfortable. Even rubbing my back when I was being sick due to a reaction to morphine. They then seemed really surprised when my husband brought them boxes of chocolates as a thank you. Two came in to give me a hug goodbye. I was so scared before going in for my operation but the whole team made it a much easier experience. I can't thank them enough.
