"Alarming visit to A&E"

I had to get my 7 year old daughter to our local A&E department within 4 hours to stabilise her medical condition, however to we were brushed aside and left in a room furthest from the nurses station for 3 and half hours without being checked on once. During this time her health deteriorated rapidly and I had to speak to staff on three occasions to ask what was happening and the response I got was "soon". This was after waiting 2 hours to get the ambulance to get us to hospital. This was appalling treatment and seriously put my daughters health at risk. After we were finally seen we had the transfer to a more specialised hospital approximately 10 hours later than expected. Very, Very disappointed and angry.
