"A pleasant surprise"

A very clean hospital with staff that care. The nurses that have been taking my blood tests have been absolutely amazing, really put me at ease and so professional. On one of the visits they were saying they didn't like the flimsy rubber bands they were using as they made no difference, next time I came a few weeks later, they were already replaced with some substantial bands that made such a change. The nurses really did try to make a difference for the patients because they cared and they succeeded. Another thank you would go to the consultant - a very professional and authoritative doctor. I've seen so many of specialists over the years but this consultant broke it down very clearly as to what the issue was and busted all illusions of what could or might not get better: straight to the point, identified the issue and prescribed the treatment even though the other specialists took years to even advise which direction I should be heading. One more star that must be praised is the consultant's secretary. They're the loveliest and most caring person, always returns your calls and has a little personal chat with you as well. Overall, so far I've been very happy and definitely the best hospital and department I've been to in years.
