"What a lack of respect!"

About: Leicester General Hospital

I came for apointment with documents (i'm from UE)-proof of address, payslip, passeport (just like the person told me by phone). And receptionist-very rude by the way- told me that they will not let me in, because I need council tax proof! I said that no one told me that, and they said- its not the first time, buy still-they will cancel my visit. I said that my partner can bring the papers within 1-2h, but they said 'no'. I was in that hospital before, and they had the papers... It is really sad, I will had termination because my baby is not where it suppose to be, and its really hard for me, and now i have to wait for next apointment. So, if you can, avoid that place!

Dear 'Jane Doe', Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We can't fully understand why this has happened but it is completely unacceptable for any of our staff to be rude to patients or colleagues. In order to look into this for you, please contact Admin Supervisor for Gynaecology, Natalie.Mobbs@uhl-tr.nhs.uk with your personal details and ideally, the name or job title of the member of staff you spoke with. Kind regards Communications Team Leicester's Hospitals
