What could be improved

My partner was recently admitted for an emergency c section. The theatre staff and the midwives we dealt with before and during the procedure were very professional and guided us through each step along the way. They did their jobs thoroughly and by the book. However the staff on the ward apart from one or two were completely the opposite. Unhelpful, unfriendly and not interested. They would not let me stay after the operation my partner was expected to look after the baby even though she couldn't get out of bed !! I went back the following day there were no clean sheets on the bed even though there was blood and other stains on them the staff just left it. My partner actually left that hospital with more wrong with her than what she went in with and was readmitted a week later with a bladder infection picked up from a catheter being left in too long the previous week. This is what i pay my National Insurance for???

The food is legendary throughout the county, how to take any meal and ruin it !! Surely this hospital can come up with something better..oh and while you're at it they charge motorway service station prices. If they were a proper business they would have gone under years ago. The staff need some serious training, manners cost nothing they should remember most of the patients are alone, scared and most importantly very ill. They're not in there for a day out. Make them comfortable and at ease, not even more frightened and afraid.
