One or two nurses were caring.

What could be improved

Cleanliness, courtesy, caring. More dignity and respect for vulnerable patients.

Anything else?

During these last few months my elderly parents have both been unfortunate enough to be admitted to the A & E Dept and then onward to the truly awful Medical & Surgical Assessment Units. The attitude of many members of staff leaves much to be desired - my poor mother, who suffers with dementia was left lying in soaking wet sheets. Mum and dad were lucky in as much as there were plenty of family members available to sort the many problems out. Many old people are not that fortunate.
