"Blood test results"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

I had a blood test.at the pathology ward because i was symptoms of abdominal pain. I was told by the person who gave me the blood test to call my GP for the results in 5 days. I did so and was told my GP that I needed to call the hospital for the results. I called the Pathology ward and was told " its lucky you called as your results are floating around in the system and had not be sent to anyone for analysis, so now I need to call again in a few days to find where they have been sent

Thanks for the comment, which you also sent to us via our general enquiries email service. As we said in our reply, blood testing services are managed by a different NHS organisation called the Pathology Partnership (tPP) - we've asked them to contact you directly with an update as to what's happened to your results. In the meantime, please accept our apologies again for any problems caused, but we do hope that our colleagues at tPP can get this sorted for you.
