"has put me off ever having another child"

I suffered with severe SPD and was admitted during pregnancy for pain management, during my induced labour my SPD was not managed, I was made to try to deliver normally with my legs in stirrups, whilst waiting to dilate fully, I was left alone for extended periods of time, my mum works in the college of paramedics, and when she noticed my temperature spikes, and baby heart rate dropping, she went to get the midwife who told her "Mrs (name edit), your daughter is not as poorly as you think she is" mum went to find a doctor and gave them her clinical evidence, when the doctor came into the room, I was rushed to an emergency section, as both myself and my daughter nearly didn't make it, my aftercare was none existent, the midwife on duty turned a power shower on my newly glued. . . Not stitched scar, I cried, I begged them to stop, as I was supporting myself on crutches due to the severity of my SPD, the midwife told me "ladies have babies everyday, there is no need for this" my one to one care in recovery was cut short as I was classed as "mobile" even though it took me 40mins to get off the bed to the chair beside it. My pain relief was missed, and my discharge was delayed as I never received my blood pressure medication on time. I used to work for the nhs and understand more than anyone the affect of staff shortage and over work, but some of those midwives forgot it was a patient they were treating not a statistic, I got very little help with breast feeding and was very eager to do it, but they were quick to get me to express and cup feed her. . .as she was a "lazy baby" when I was discharged home my community midwife knew nothing of my hospital experience and when I hold them how we both nearly didn't make it, I cried, so they tried to insist I was depressed, which I wasn't, I was just emotional. . .understandably.I was discharged from them after a week, with an infected c section scar, as I was imobile and still on crutches, my baby was born on the 29th August 2014, yesterday my section opened up again. . .not for the first time after 10 months, I put this down to poor treatment of the original infection, and I still walk with crutches and am unable to properly care for my baby alone due to the damage caused during labour to my hip's, over the lack of care treating a lady with SPD as severe as mine. I had to fight for everything at Royal Preston, I think I would still be there now if I hadn't got mum to explain for me that the reason my blood pressure won't settle is that they won't give me my medication on time even when I go to the nurses station to get it, cause when I tried to tell them that, they looked at me like I was stupid, an over reacting 1st time mum. 2 midwives stood out the whole time I was there, who cared about the woman's journey through childbirth and not what time they clocked off.
