"The Accident and Emergency Unit"

About: James Paget University Hospital

On the 30th April this year my husband suffered a heart attack and was taken to your Unit before being transferred in an emergency situation to the Norfolk and Norwich. I would like to thank the Doctor on duty that evening who attended my husband together with the nurses who stabilised him, we owe you so much. The nurse and ambulance crew who accompanied my husband on his journey to the Norfolk and Norwich and kept him alive, I cannot thank you enough. For the past six years my husband has been suffering from various forms of cancer and has had three serious operations, lung, liver and bowel, so I have so many reasons to be thankful to the National Health and the skilful doctors and nurses who work within it. I would also like to say thank you to the Paramedics who did a brilliant job and at the same time were reassuring, without you all being there for the likes of us our lives would be very different, thank you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us have your comments. It must have been a very difficult time, but I am really pleased to see that our staff had such an impact. I hope he is now feeling much better. I will pass your comments to the team for you. Ann Filby, Head of Communications
