"Contacting reception"

We would like to offer our apologies that your experience of contacting the Endocrinology Department has not been satisfactory. From time to time, when the department is very busy we have to use the answer phone to enable staff to deal with patients who are attending the department. All messages are noted and shared with the appropriate member of staff for response, but sometimes there can be delays where this requires discussion with personnel . In those situations, we will look to contact the individual to inform them what is happening.
