"I don't want a man to shower me"

About: North Ayrshire Council - Three Towns, North Coast and Arran

(as a service user),

A male carer came yesterday to give me a shower and I wasn't happy. I don't want a man to shower me. I called to complain about this before but didn't hear back. I only get a shower once each week, it takes a lot out of me, it's a struggle, so one day is enough.

Normally the carers help with meals and put on my washing and hang it out for me. I have a friend who takes me food shopping once a week, I am really fed up of eating microwave meals though.
