"A thank you for excellent service"

My husband has just had a Total Knee Replacement - seen by Consultant in February and originally given date of early July for surgery which we were quite happy with. Had a phone call in June re a cancellation 3 days later and, of course, he took the opportunity to go in then. From the time he arrived in Copford Ward on that day, through to surgery and then a stay in Gt Tey Ward until the end of June he received excellent treatment by all concerned. He could not have expected better attention anywhere and we are so grateful to Colchester General Hospital. He had a problem following previous surgery at the same Hospital and was a little apprehensive about similar happening but delighted with everything on this occasion.
