(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

We discussed in our Community meeting in June ways to improve our experience on the ward

1. We would like to have a trip to the Seaside

2. We would like to request that people from a clothes shop attend the hospital and give us the opportunity to buy clothes on site.

3. Please can we have a cold water fountain? It is starting to get warmer.

Thank you for your post about Porchesters community meeting in June, I would like to update you on what we have planned:

1) The patients and staff have worked together to arrange a trip for the day to Scarborough on 10th July.

2) Our patient representative took your request to the Patient Forum. Kev Tone (recreational co-ordinator) kindly agreed to look at the possibilities. He will feedback at the next patient forum.

3) It was agreed the ward could have a cold water fountain, a request has been placed for the quote to have a cold water fountain sourced and fitted.
