"First stay in hospital"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

Before coming into sonning ward, I had never been to hospital for any length of time so I was very nervous about my first operation. I was well informed throughout my stay and treated with care and respect. Any questions I had were answered with patience and care and they made a very worrying situation for me a lot more bearable. My husband was allowed to stay with me all day and they made sure everything was ready so I could go home on the same day. All in all a very good first stay in hospital.
