"Emergency surgery"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

I took myself to the accident and emergency department of the royal last Friday the 26th July presenting symptoms of appendicitis I was processed through A and E by extremely caring professional staff and put into the care of the team in the ESAU unit ESAU is a very busy unit The staff are very very busy But my care was excellent I did have to wait until Tuesday for my surgery but that was because there were more urgent emergencies coming in and this was explained to me I recovered from the surgery on ward 9 Y There was a nurse on nights who looked after me all night and before they left in the morning Then another nurse who looked after me They were all professional caring and a credit to their profession and the royal Liverpool hospital
