"A&E"

About: Dorset County Hospital

My Dad was brought to A&E by ambulance today. I met him there. We have nothing but praise for all the staff there who were kind, professional, thorough and respectful throughout. Particular thanks to staff who explained everything so carefully, but no less credit to the rest of the team. Dad is now eating and drinking (more importantly!) and feeling a great deal better! Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us, I will make sure the Emergency Department team hear how much you appreciated the care and treatment your Dad received at our Hospital. It can be very frightening coming into hospital, especially when you are elderly and no less so for the family. I was really pleased to read your Dad was treated with kindness, professionalism and respect and that everything was explained well to you all. I hope he is continuing to make a good recovery and eating and drinking well, especially in this warm weather we have been having lately. I am grateful to you for taking the time to share your feedback, it will be immensely appreciated. Best wishes, Alison Tong, Director of Nursing, Dorset County Hospital
