"Sheffield IAPT - made me feel like I was a waste of her time"

My first expirience of accessing counselling .... The First Lady I saw was lovely and did help but she felt I was better suited to see the second lady

The second lady was the most inflexible service with no morning appointments available for the foreseeable future and the last appointment of the day at 15: 30 on only one day of the week, no options or flexibility around this. I work full time 30 miles away and would have to take a full afternoon off work every week in order to access this service but decided to do this and use my holiday entitlement.

the counsellor ŵas cold and hard, she made me feel anxious and when I told her this she said I also made her feel anxious, she made me feel like I was a waste of her time.

A truly awful experience and would not want any one else to be treated or made to feel like this.
