I've been attending the eye clinic for a few years and found it to be disorganised, sometimes waiting up to 3 hours for treatment. Today I feared the worse when confronted by a packed waiting area. Clearly the wonderful staff have worked hard on improvements as I was in and out within 45 minutes. Another fantastic improvement was a member of staff coming to address all those waiting to apologise for the wait and explain that clinic was very busy today but that everyone would be seen as soon as possible. A really simple thing but boy does it make a difference when you're waiting, thank you. I would never question the commitment of our wonderful NHS staff, you're stars, but just like any other business, improvements in processes can always be made and if my visit today is typical the eye clinic has made a great move forward. Well done all of you.
"Much improved"
