"Major bowel surgery."

I wish to place on record my treatment at Dewsbury Hospital by first of all the doctor and staff who did my Colonoscopy to identify problem and secondly my 8 day stay in the hospital ward 20 and 15 after my Op' 4th June. Op was done by very competent staff. I have nothing but the highest praise for my treatment from the team in charge of my operation. At all times I was kept in the picture as to what would happen both before, at commencement and after the operation. All that I was told was going to happen did happen and I was kept completely at ease at all times. Notwithstanding the team who did my op,' care given by staff on Wards 20 and 15 was of the highest order even down to my discharge. I have now been placed in the care of the Dist' Nursing team who visit daily. I am now well on the way to recovery although still have follow up appointments. I do sincerely hope you are in a position to pass on my comments, thanks and appreciation to the people I mention in this text. People in this area who have to go into Dewsbury hospital should have no doubts that they will get the best of treatment during any stay in hospital. Many thanks Brian Midgley
