"Waiting and waiting"

I was referred to inclusion matters 8 months ago. I still have not been seen, despite phoning on a number of occasions, my GP has also contacted them. "There is still a several month lead time. " Recently I received a letter saying did I still want my appointment? ! ! ! ! Do these people have any idea of what this does to someone who made a decision to actually go and ask for help? Do I still want my appointment? yes, because it is my only hope. But if this is how people are treated by the service, my hope is diminishing by the day.
